 Word Lists that have been or will be sent home this
 week are Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 8, 9, 10 11,12, 
13 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 25, 26, and 27.  
Little Readers that have been sent home are 
Readers 1, 2, 3 4, 5, 6, 7,8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13.  
When child has read books or list 3 times initial 
sheet in notebook and they can get small prize. 
 I usually check notebooks about once a week to 
give prizes.
Letters studied – all letters, both long and short 
vowels.  Combination qu, er,or, ar; diagraphs ck,
 sh, th, oo, ch, ee and vowel-consonant-silent e.

Sight words we have had are the, of, to, four, from, into, one, have, said, you, do, love, was,  what, my, two, when, they, who, come, and where.

Phonic Rule of Week –     combinations ar, er, and or

 

We will be practicing for graduation.  Children should be working on saying name, what they want to be when they grow up, and their lines for graduation. 

 Check list for promotion will be sent home this week, check proper places, sign and return. 

 Feel free to call me at home this week, if you have questions.  My husband is home now and we should be here unless we are at outpatient rehab.

 Tuesday  - 5th– Daisy’s favorite day

Wednesday – 6th - Landon’s favorite day

Thursday  7th -  Melanie’s favorite day  Special treat for those who turned in April Book List Monday

Friday 8th - No School

Monday 11th- Jaycee’s favorite day and birthday; All library books due

 

DIBELS test results should be sent home this week.  Be sure you have completed Little Readers and Word List if your child has read to someone.  I will take these up to give awards Tues.  Word Lists will still be sent home, but you will not need to write them down. 

I haven’t got to be in on most of plans for graduation, but things seem to be going good.  If you haven’t been contacted and would like to help, just call me.   They might still need help with refreshments or other small things.  If you didn’t get invitation, just let me know.
