Japanese - “Konnichiwa” Word Lists that have been or will be sent home this week are Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 8, 9, 10 11,12,
13 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 25, and 26.
Little Readers that have been sent home are Readers 1, 2, 3 4, 5, 6, 7,8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13.
When child has read books or list 3 times initial
sheet in notebook and they can get small prize.
I usually check notebooks about once a week to
give prizes.
Letters studied – all letters, both long and short
vowels. Combination qu, diagraphs ck, sh, th,
oo, ch, ee and vowel-consonant-silent e.
Sight words we have had are the, of, to, four, from, into, one, have, said, you, do, love, was, what, my, two, when, they, who, and come. |
Phonic Rule of Week – diagraph ch and ee Key words are cheese and tree. We will be learning about chipmunks, chocolate, trees in different seasons and how to cover your mouth when you sneeze. We will continue to work on addition, subtraction, writing to 100, money, time and writing full name. We will be practicing for graduation. Children should be working on saying name, what they want to be when they grow up, and their lines for graduation.

list.
Children will be sent home a number pattern and paper.
They should make their number and decorate it for decorations for
graduation. They will be
singing a song about numbers at graduation.
Part for graduation
should be sent home this week and DIBELS will probably be done this
week.
If you can help work booth, please let Mrs Couch know.
Workers are needed from 6:00-8:00.
We also need donations for our basket.
