Award Assembly
3rd
-6th 8:30 We will
not go to assembly. If your
child has an older sibling and would like to go, you may take them with
you. They should not bring
anything with them today.
Everything should already be sent home. We will only clean room and put
things away.
School will be dismissed early for
year and buses will run at 12:50 for those who do not leave after assembly.
I was proud of
children at graduation. They
did a very good job saying their parts.
I am going to reward them with treats and drinks today.
Thanks to those who helped get things together, decorated and
helped clean afterwards.

I can’t believe school year is almost over. I regret that I have had to miss so much school at the end. My husband is doing so well, but we still have a way to go. I still don’t leave him alone and we go to therapy three times a week. I hope eventually he can have a complete recovery. Tuesday your child should bring home a cd with all pictures I have for year. You can take it to a photo machine like Walgreen or Wal Mart and print any pictures that you want or put it on computer and print. Also they will bring home a DVD disk with slide show that I have made from pictures. I hope you enjoy it. A great big thank you to all who have helped this year with all our activities. It has made my year easier, but more important is has helped your child learn more. Find time to read to your child over the summer.
It is one of best things you can do to help your child stay on
level. Try to find time to
practice 2 or three times a week the letter names and sounds, numbers.
Money was one thing several were having trouble.
You might practice name and value
of quarter, dime, nickel and penny.
Encourage your child to write and draw.
I would love for them to write me this summer.
I will answer their letters.
Email would be good too.
We did not get to do our email project, but it would be good
practice for them to write notes to others.
