 Word Lists that have been or will be sent home 

this week are Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 8, 9, 10 11,12,

 13 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 20, 21, 22 and 23.  

Little Readers that have been sent home are 

Readers 1, 2, 3 4, 5, 6, 7,8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.  

When child has read books or list 3 times 

initial sheet in notebook and they can get 

small prize.  I usually check notebooks about once

 a week to give prizes.

Letters studied – all letters, both long and short 

vowels.  Combination qu, diagraphs ck, sh  and th.

Sight words we have had are the, of, to, four, from, into, one, have, said, you, do, love, was, and what.

Phonic Rule of Week –   diagraph  00 - Key words are two sounds of oo as in hook and  tooth.  We will be learning about healthy food choices and continue unit on birds. 

Personal update – My husband is now in Duncan Rehab.  We have a long way to go, but progress is good.  I hope to be able to spend some time at school with kids and help with things as much as I can.  There is no way to express my thanks to all who have been helping with field trip, carnival and graduation.

Remember if you have carnival donations, send them to Mrs. Crouch at school.  I will list them on web site and make a sign to display at carnival giving credit to donors.

This Week –

Tues Apr 14 – Bulldog Blastoff Showcase at 8:00 in new gym.   Wear green shirt - Mid Term reports go home

Thurs. P-K Enrollment from 7:30-3:30 in library

Thurs. April 16^th Field trip.  Children will go to room at 8:00 as usually.  Parents and children should be there so we can finalize plans for trip.   If you don’t go, please pick up your child at 5:15 at school by Superintendent’s office.   Mrs. RedElk has snacks and drinks for children in am and pm.  Your child will need to bring their lunch and a drink (unless you asked cafeteria to fix one).   Mrs. RedElk will ice down lunch drinks Thurs. morning at 8:00.  Children should wear their green class shirt.  Each parent will supervise their child and maybe one more.  It should be a fun and exciting day.
