Sight words we have had are the, of, to, four, from, into, one, have, said, you, do, love, was,  what, my, two, when, they, who, come,  where, and are.

Phonic Rule of Week –     vccv rule – learn to divide work in syllable and then read

We will be practicing for graduation.  Children should be working on saying name, what they want to be when they grow up, and their lines for graduation.    Be sure your child knows this part.  We will still work on it at schools.  I will be testing for report cards. 

This Week –

  Monday -11th - Jaycee’s  favorite day and celebrate birthday    .

Thursday  14th -  Graduation at 7:00  in New Gym (note change from cafeteria) Please have children in classroom by 6:30.  Robes have been pressed and are ready.  You will need to help them get robes on.  Hats will be in gym to put on right before graduation.    You may want to practice putting it on with girls to see if it can be put over their hair style quickly.  We walk to side, and put hats on after speaking parts before presentation of diplomas.  If you ordered a robe, you may take whole set.  If you ordered only a tassel, please put robe and hat in box by gym door after graduation.  If you did not purchase anything, please put robe, hat and tassel in box by gym door.  Thanks for your help.  We will save robes for next year.   There will be a reception after graduation.  Everyone is invited.   If you would like to help decorate Thursday, help will be appreciated (probably in afternoon)

May 15^th – No School

 Future Dates

 May 18^th -  All supplies left over for year will be sent home. 

May 19^th Award Assembly Pre-k through 2^nd 8:30  Awards for year will be presented this year.  Each child will receive as least one award.     

May 20^th  Last day of school

Award Assembly 3^rd -6^th 8:30  We will not go to assembly.  If your child has an older sibling and would like to go, you may take them with you.  We will only clean room and put things away.  School will be dismissed for year and buses will run at 1:00 for those who do not leave after assembly. 

Remember to save Capri Sun drink packages over the summer as school earns points for this.
